Good luck !

Back in the good ole days, I bought several for $100-$150. Those days are LONG gone.

A decent used 12-bolt will probably cost near $2k. New 12-bolts, with disc brakes are closer to $3500.

If you are real lucky, you MIGHT locate an 8.5" 10-bolt that came out of an Olds or Buick, from the early '70's, for $1000 or less. But, by the time you have it rebuilt correctly, with good parts, it'll cost over $2k. 'ol Pinion Head, who use to post here, has built lots of these, & probably has some cores in stock.

Some go with 9" Ford units. One with a good chunk will probably cost at least $2500. Some have posted good results with the Quick Performance 9" units. But, not all recommend them.

With the weaker stock chunk, these are $1865 + tax + S & H. Upgrades cost extra.

The Moser Muscle Pak is probably one of the highest priced street 12-bolts. Will be near $4k shipped.

Here's a Currie.

If you are going aftermarket......I would go with the Strange Engineering S60; their interpretation of the Dana 60. Damn near indestructible and no more expensive than any of the other options out there.
