Took my first trip to the track last night. Ran it three times. I was pleased with the results.

Conditions: 65 degrees and very humid
Run #1: 12.889 @ 108.67
Run #2: 12.822 @ 109.22
Run #3: Bust - lit 'em up leaving the line...

I was next to an 04 ZO6 once. He was getting 12.60 @ 114...

I am trying to post the time slips, but having trouble with file size. :confused

:agree We only have a lame 1/8 track in town. Have to drive 45 minutes(through cop infested waters) just to get to a 1/4 mile track.

Great for first Time were you nervous? I know how to burn tires off but having trouble getting off line. Need some one to shows me how M12!

I really wasn't too nervous. Tried not to line up next to anything that would keep me from hearing the LS2!!! If you've ever done that, its a trip. Kinda scary too. Makes you feel like yours is not even running and you want to reach down and try to start it!

I was trying to play the whole game - watching the tree trying to get a good light and trying to launch and leave good. I thought my 60 was good also, but wonder if I can get a bit better. I was launching about 3K and the clutch seemed to be sticking some half way through first gear.

I agree, running 12's your first time out is quite an accomplishment.
