... you've seen someone do in their car... while driving? Remember... while driving!

Nastiest: I have seen 2 individuals enjoying lunch... from their nose  .

Dumbest: Today I saw a woman driving while filling out her personal check on the steering wheel. Considering the amount of time it takes to fill out a check compared to paying attention to the road and not risking causing an accident, this is one of the dumbest things I've seen. What a dimwit!

Dumbest: A Mom reading a childrens book to her kids. She kept turning around to look at the kids. Nice Mercedes sedan but she was in no way paying attention to the road. Late starts on lights, hard braking etc. I couldn't get her attention. Felt sorry for the kids.

Nastiest: N/A

Okay...I think I got you BOTH beat...

Dumbest: A woman putting on masacara AND talking on a cell phone (not with a hands free set either!) while occasionally eating...

Nastiest: I saw someone actually "lose their lunch" while driving...EWWWW!!

Drivers here are pretty dumb!:willy:

Yeah but someone throwing up is due to possibly being sick in the stomach. Someone enjoying nose snacks is due to being sick in the head :willy: . If I ever get that hungry, I'll be looking for a McDonald's or something.

Nastiest- some morbidly obese/ugly woman in a beat up explorer stopped at a stop sign, leaned her head out the window, and spit out her tabacco on the ground.

Another one happened to a friend of mine while i was riding shotgun, some woman in a white van pulled up next to us, and threw her lit cigarette right as his windshield. It landed IN the air vent and we had to smell that for around 5 miles. When i finally got it out it was covered with lipstick. Classy.

Dumbest- just the normal cell phone crap.

Nastiest--Either people eating and/or mining for nasal pickin's, or the time some ugly older guy mooned my a friend and I when we were out driving around as teenagers. The mooner, at least, was a passenger and not the driver, or else this would be both the dumbest and nastiest thing at once.

Dumbest--Morons turning from a straight-only lane and damn near hitting someone who was in the proper turn lane, or the guy driving a Suburban who was talking on the cell phone and eating a burger and trying to use a napkin at the same time. He could barely stay on the road.

I'm seeing a trend here!! Is it just me or are women drivers the root of all evil! In my line of work I'd have to say the most common fatal combination is a woman, On a cell phone, driving an SUV! Make it a latin woman and she's her goose is cooked....

Women in general are the worst drivers i've ever seen. The insurance rate difference is 100% affirmitive action.

That being said, i've seen my fair share of women that actually know how to drive, and even know how their cars function! I know they exist, but i have no idea how it happened.

1.) Woman with the vanity mirror down doing eye make-up while rolling.

2.) Guy with a newspaper on the steering wheel in highway traffic.

3.) Women on cell phones constantly (hand held, not hands free). Driving is an afterthought as evidenced by the panicked herky jerky lane changes and stabs at the brake.

I say let her be dumb. Hell, let her teach a class on the topic here in Tampa so I can witness this act of "stupidity" myself. :D

There are just as many bad drivers regardless of gender, from what I've seen.

However, one thing I've noticed is that a good number of bad drivers are made up of people who don't really have an interest/enthusiasm/desire to drive (or interest/enthusiasm/desire in cars), but just do so because they feel they have to/need to to get to work/feel obligated/feel societal pressure to. These are people who would be just as happy to bum rides if there was always a convenient available ride when they need it.

I say this based off of talking to some of the people (they may be friends, coworkers, family etc). Very often the people I know of who are the lousiest drivers just don't have any interest in driving--they only do so because they have to. The better drivers at least have a desire to want to drive.

However, the number of people with no interest in driving is overall probably pretty low.

(By the way, when I say 'no interest in driving', I'm not saying that they have to be a gung-ho enthusiast who wants to mod their car etc. I'm just referring to the people who are totally apathetic, never find driving the slightest bit fun, never get a smile out of taking a corner a bit fast, and would be just as happy to bum rides constantly).

I hate to say it ... but my wife falls into this category. She hates driving if she doesn't have to. As long as i've known her she's NEVER test drove a car that she's bought. I have to do all the test drives for her.:confused
