I lived in Pomona from 1961-1973. My Mom, brother, and my sister still live there.

I’m a truck driver ( which I hate that occupation name ) I haul parts into GM plants.
You are a "Professional Freight Relocating Transportation Manager" like me. :yesnod: Gotta slip that word "Professional" in there to be politically correct and support all the trucking activists in Washington trying to make us something we are not. BUT, I have one up on you. At my work place I am not only a "professional driver," I am also the President and CEO of Transportation Management - a title my boss gave me because I am his only truck driver. Of course my pay doesn't reflect the title at all seeing I am paid hourly like all the other employees, but I am not out on the road and sleep in my own bed every night - so its a trade off.

I am a retired IT Security Specialist for an Aerospace Company. My first build of 65 GTO hardtop. Hubby has a 57 chev truck, 79 chevy Silverado. I wanted the Pontiac. It's almost ready for paint and then we will start on engine and interior.

Bought my 65 new in Mobile Al. Retired Air Force Electronic Maintenance, Civilian Job for Aircraft electronic maintenance and engineering. Drove my 65 all over this country when assignments changed with wife and dog in the front seat and 3 kids in the back seat. Moved all six of us from Michigan to Albuquerque while towing my CJ5 Jeep. It has served me well!
