Hi all,

I'm looking for some wiring advice.

I'm installing a new aluminum radiator with dual SPAL fans for my '66. The wiring diagram for the tandem relays is pretty straight forward.

BUT...in the past I installed a Ford-style external starter solenoid relay on my fender well to make it easier to do accessory wiring. Now I'm not certain where to run the "orange ignition" wires from the fan relays given this set up.

Any wisdom would be great.
Thanks

Orange wire wont go anywhere on your starter solenoid.

The orange wire needs ACC key power. This is something that is hot in the run position of the ignition switch. If you have a choke wire on ur carb you can splice into that. Or find another wire under the hood that supplies 12volts with the key on to splice into. Or run the wire inside under the dash to the fuse block. There should be at least 1 open ACC port from the factory. Usually you would use a Male Quick Disconnect Spade connector to plug into it.
