Hello everyone,

I'm trying to help my dad out. He is looking into purchasing a Judge ('69) and wants to verify through the VIN is exactly what he's buying. I wrote down what I thought was the VIN Plate No. - 242379B158138 but I cannot come up with any matches. The plate literally read as follows:

VIN 2422379B158138

ST69 24237 BAL567254
TR257 73 PPNT
2A B 123035

Can anyone help me out? I'm best reached at briantvalerio@gmail.com. Much thanks to anyone who can help me out.

Regards,
Brian

The vin is for a 69 GTO hardtop built in Baltimore Md. The data plate indicates the car should have Parchment interior and Verdoro Green exterior.

There is no way to tell from the VIN tag and Data Plate if the car was a true "Judge". The best way to verify if the car was ordered with the Judge option is to purchase the PHS Documentation which will include a build sheet and the billing history. The documents will cost around $50 to $75 and they can fax the results to you within a day or 2.

Also, the Judge option included one or two heavy duty deck lid torsion bar(s) to lift the added weight of the spoiler. Cloners usually forget this minor detail
