what are the dates on them ??? both 70 dates ??
whats the build date on your engine or car ??
I think the 488296 has a different impeller ,,,,

 

build date of car is first week of April 1970. engine manufacture is March.
I need to purchase a pump for a restoration. Pumps I am finding are both casting numbers.
Which one do I want?
