Great choice! Im a big fan of his work. Paul is to Muncie's & Borg Warner's, what Jim Hand is to Pontiac V8's & Cliff Ruggles is to Rochester carbs. To anyone who has a Muncie 4speed and wants to know just what they have and how to make it better, he is the guru. He also has a good book out that was published a couple of years ago. I too have purchased Muncie parts from him. He sells good stuff and knows what he's talking about. I don't think he gets the credit he deserves. As someone who appreciates Muncie's, I think we are very lucky to have him around.

I bought the parts to rebuild my ST-10 in the Corvette from Paul, including a replacement reverse gear and a new mainshaft. Excellent service and quality, and he's a real gearhead, literally.

 

his videos have some cool tips and tricks to get slick shifts.been studying them for a while now. his channel is very useful.

 

I also have a had a great experience with Paul. Stand up guy. He rebuilt my hurst shifter for a very reasonable price and it works like a dream now. Had time after working all day like we do and chill and talk about cars and good times past. I would recommend him or his services to any of you guys.

 

LOL.....I rebuilt a 55+ year old Hurst shifter I got on ebay after watching Paul's video. Turns out mine had two of the shim/spacer plates in the wrong place. It's been working flawlessly for the past 4 years now.

 

the older ones are better. the new ones need tweaking.
